Pétanque Manager was designed by a player, for players. We apply a strict policy: your sporting progress is private, secure and entirely under your control.

  Our model is built on transparency. We do not sell, rent or share any of your personal or sporting data with third parties.

1. Publisher and host.

The website petanquemanager.fr and the Pétanque Manager and Pétanque Club apps are published by Wilfrid Perruquetti, in a personal capacity, who is also the publication director. Contact: contact@petanquemanager.fr.

Host: OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France. The servers are located in France.

2. Use without an account.

Most of the app works offline, with no user account. Tournaments, players, scores, statistics and finances are stored in a local database on your device: we have no access to it.

The security of access to this data therefore depends on your device's lock.

3. What the app transmits, at your request.

A few features send information to our servers, each triggered by an explicit action on your part: live tracking of a tournament and listings, which are public; assignment tracking, visible only to the coach; the club licence and proposed corrections to a tournament. Details and retention periods are set out in the privacy policy.

No advertising tracker or audience measurement tool is built into the apps. We build no profile and resell no data.

4. Intellectual property.

The texts, images, logos, the Pétanque Manager brand and the code of the apps are the property of their author and protected by copyright. Reproducing or reusing them, other than a short quotation crediting the source, requires prior written permission.

Content published by users — the text and photos of a listing, names shown in live tracking — remains the property of those who publish it, under their own responsibility.

5. Purchases and subscriptions.

Pétanque Manager purchases and subscriptions are concluded with Apple or Google, depending on the platform, and not directly with the publisher. Managing them, cancelling them and requesting refunds are handled by the platform. Pétanque Club has no in-app purchases.

6. Limitation of liability.

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Your data is not backed up on our servers: if it is lost — broken device, app uninstalled — it is lost for good. Use the export function to keep a copy.

The publisher cannot be held liable for the loss of data it never held.

7. Changes to the service and the terms.

The app and its terms may change. Any new version of the terms is published on this site, with its date.

8. Personal data & GDPR.

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of the data we hold, object to its processing or request its portability. As there is no user account, such a request in practice concerns a published listing, an online tournament tracking page, proof of assignments or a proposed correction.

Write to contact@petanquemanager.fr: reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

9. Links and cookies.

This site may link to third-party sites — App Store, Google Play, federations — whose content is beyond our control. It sets only two technical cookies, which require no consent: “lang”, which remembers the chosen language for one year, and “pm-theme”, which remembers the light or dark theme for one year if you change it, and which it also keeps in your browser's local storage. No advertising cookie, no audience measurement.

10. Governing law.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, first seek an amicable solution by writing to contact@petanquemanager.fr. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction; if you are a consumer, you retain the right to bring the matter before the courts of your place of residence.
