1
Playback in the app
The video plays in its platform's embed page — YouTube, Facebook, Dailymotion — with that platform's controls. Nothing is downloaded.

2
Landscape and back
Turn the device: the screen follows. Going back stops playback and cuts the sound at once; the original orientation is restored.

3
Open the original
The open button, when present, opens the video on its platform's site: the way out if the embedded player misbehaves.

4
When the video will not play
Some rights holders forbid embedding: the page then shows the thumbnail, and you choose between “Watch in the app” (YouTube's mobile site) and “Open in YouTube”. A removed or missing video, or a loading failure, shows a fallback screen with a link to the original. A video filed in the wrong place or with the wrong year? “Suggest a category” reports it, with the category or the year of the event; nothing changes until it is approved.

Opens the "About" sheet: the notices required by YouTube's terms of service and their two links.
